Overview of Device States
In the Devices overview page you will see a Device State for each Device:
โ
There are six states that can be applied to a Device, which are:
Live (Deployed and active)
Commissioning (Preparing for deployment)
Decommissioned (Out of service)
Testing (Used for testing)
Maintenance (Down for maintenance)
Spare (Spare or swap-out unit)
To see a description of each state, simply hover over it; example below:

3. Change Device State - Import / Bulk Register Devices
Using the Import / Bulk Register Devices feature it's possible to either apply Device states to single or multiple existing Devices, or apply a state to a Device while bulk registering it to your account.
To import via a spreadsheet, there must be a column with the header 'State' and the state must be written in lower case in this column. Example below:

With the sheet uploaded, now map your columns to the relevant import field(s):
IMPORTANT!
โIf updating existing Devices: The ID field MUST be included and mapped correctly. To obtain the ID for existing Devices, please Export the list of Devices.
Once data from your spreadsheet has been mapped, click Confirm to import data.
You will be presented with a confirmation notification on screen including the number of Devices successfully updated and you'll see the new states applied:
