Troubleshooter - Remote Troubleshoot Devices

Some platforms support remote troubleshooting, in which case you'll be able to remotely wipe files and relaunch the embed app at the click of a button.

The Troubleshoot button provides a way for you to remotely wipe the embed application content files, reboot the device and redownload the content.

This can sometimes be a good step to either resolve an issue or understand more about where issues may be arising.

There are several ways to active the Troubleshooter on a device, here's how:

1. Click into the Device edit page. Here you will see the 'Troubleshoot' button in the top menu

2. In the main Devices overview page, select the checkbox next to the Device(s) rows you wish to Troubleshoot, then select 'Actions' > 'Run Troubleshooter'

3. On the Device row, click the three dots for 'More actions' then select 'Run Troubleshooter

When selecting to run the Troubleshooter, you'll be presented with a confirmation window to validate your intentions. If you wish to proceed, please click
'Run Troublshooter'

The next time the Device(s) check into embed, it'll wipe the files, reboot and redownload the content.
