Date widget

Display the device date or specific timezone date on your digital signage screens.

You can display the date, set on your device, or specific timezone by adding the Date widget to your playlists.

Add to Playlist

Select your designated zone and enter the zones playlist by double clicking on the zone, or click 'Edit Zone Playlist'. Click 'Widget' and select 'Date' to insert the date widget.

Date Customisation

There are a range of options to customise how the Date is shown.

  • Show fields (toggle on/off fields to display)

    • Day of week (Monday, Tuesday etc)

    • Date (16th)

    • Month (July)

    • Year (2028)

  • Date Format (how the date will be shown)

    • Day Month

    • Month Day

    • Month Day Year

    • Year Month Day

    • Day Month Year

  • Day Format (how the day will display)

    • Full (Wednesday)

    • Short, Always first (Weds,)

    • Full, Always first (Wednesday,)

    • Short (Weds)

    • Do not display (omit day from the display)

  • Month Format (how the month with display)

    • Full (September)

    • Short (Sep)

    • Number (09)

  • Year Format (how the year will display, if selected)

    • YY (28)

    • YYYY (2028)

  • Date Ordinal (display as a number only or not)

    • No (number only i.e. 28)

    • Yes (include ordinal suffix i.e. 28th)

  • Separator (optional)

    • Add a custom character to separate the data i.e. '-'

  • Timezone

    • Device timezone (displays date information directly from device being shown on)

    • Search and display date from specific timezone (i.e. Auckland, New Zealand)

  • Font Formatting

    • Select the text, then apply font formatting to style the Date content

Once you are happy with the design, click 'Save Changes' to go back to the playlist.
